The OMIC Group Office in Hong Kong was renamed OMIC (Hong Kong) Ltd., replacing OMIC & Associates Ltd. on June 24, 2011.

Plant & Machinery Dept. was accredited as a capable inspection body, relevant to inspection of Machinery/Equipment/PSI, to ISO/IEC 17020: 1998 by the "Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment" in April, 2010.
The Bangkok Branch also received an accreditation of ISO 17020 by the "Thai Industrial Standards Institute" in relation to inspection of Thai Hom Mali Rice in March 2010.
OMIC was accredited and registered as an accreditation body of "JAS Standard with Production Information System" by MAFF (Japan Government) on January 13, 2010.
OMIC established its subsidiary company OMIC (Cambodia) Ltd. on July 31, 2009 and launched inspection services of textiles from early in September 2009.
